Capt. Art is a retired school teacher who has spent 34 years in the field of education and coaching. He has been fishing Lake St. Clair for the past 44 years and has worked for 5 different charter companies. He teamed up with his son Brian to win the Professional Musky Tournament when it was held on Lake St.Clair in 1999. They also placed 2nd in the 1999 Huron Point Musky Slam. In the summer of 2004, the Reel Happy Team tied for 1st. place in the prestigious Belle River Musky Tournament with a 51.75" giant. Capt. Art is the inventor and producer of the Artifact Musky Lure. He is a serious fisherman but also has a keen sense of humour.

Capt. Brian, who was a first mate when he was just 8 years old, loves fishing, fishing and more fishing! He has inherited his father's sense of humour and love of the sport. You'll seldom see Capt. Brian sitting down; he is constantly checking lines and changing baits until he has figured the fish out.
